Assignment Title: Menu Development Project
What I learned: In this assignment I learned to that creating a menu was not just simply finding recipes and implementing them. In order to standardize a menu for large scale production many details must be addressed including: portion size, yield, and various specifications for ordering.
Reflection to assignment: When creating a school menu, many items need to be addressed such as nutrients in the foods available, having different colors of foods, having a variety of foods from day to day, and giving the kids healthy foods to chose from. Being able to produce an attractive, yet still healthy menu is very challenging however much easier for me now that I have practice with it.
