- I grew up in the culturally diverse Bay Area of California and lived in the same home for my first 18 years of life.
- I love to snowboard. I go every chance I can get. I have competed in the x-trails and numerous slopestyle events and rail jams.
- I was a member of the CSU Chico Wakeboard team. I was the female on my team to make finals in the Collegiate Nationals in Florida in 2006 and was chosen as the only female from Chico to compete for the Collegiate Nationals in San Diego 2007.
- I swam the Alcatraz Invitational two times, with no wetsuit.
- I love to travel, there is no experience compared to going into foreign countries and indulging in their culture. I have been to Costa Rica, Spain, The Behamas (to name a few). Traveling to other countries has allowed for me to see where other cultures come from.
- I am a dog person. I one of my own named Hula. She is a border collie-lab mix who I rescued from a shelter when she was a puppy.
