Physiology Case Study: Peptic Ulcers
Skill Area: Biology Assignment Title: Case Study: Peptic Ulcers What I learned: This was an assignment for my physiology class in which I was to diagnose a patient with a disease. I learned to do research about a disease and give information that was not 100% nutrition related. Reflection to assignment: This assignment allowed for me to do a case study for a nutrition related disease that was not for a nutrition class. I was able to diagnose, treat and help this fictional patient with their disease. Relevance to the profession: Because of my strong nutrition background many nutrition background, I am able to understand the pathophysiology and treatment of many disease states more clearly. The most common diseases in America are nutrition related, therefore I will be able to work with a majority of patients with nutrition related problems.
